Exciting news! Yuup is almost ready to launch in Birmingham!
It’s been a few months since we announced our upcoming launch in Birmingham, and we could not be happier with the diverse range of unique businesses we have partnered with so far.
Birmingham is a city bursting at the seams with creative people and independents, all itching to share their passions. From the vibrant and buzzing streets of Digbeth to the historic Jewellery Quarter, it’s been an absolute pleasure discovering the thriving creative scene that Birmingham has to offer.
Our team have been busy searching out some of the city’s most exciting businesses to partner with. We’ve also welcomed two full-time Birmingham team members Kiran and Esther, who have been hard at work setting the wheels in motion with many dedicated and talented local champions.

Matrix Virtual Reality, Digbeth:

Did you know Birmingham has more canals than Venice? The Gintleman is partnering with Yuup, to offer people front-row seats in discovering one of Birmingham’s famous cultural landmarks.
Once a thriving hub of industry, the canals are now a haven for Brummy merry-makers. What better way to get onto the water, than doing it whilst sampling a selection of specialist gins with your friends? We’re in!
The Jewels Academy, Dudley:
Ever dreamed of running away to the circus? Picture hanging upside down in an aerial hoop or throwing elegant shapes using suspended silks!

My Exotic Kitchen, Northfield:
Can you hear that? It’s the sound of perfectly sizzling prawns filling the air with mouth-watering aromas of lemongrass, ginger and coconut.
Tina is the culinary genius behind My Exotic Kitchen, the Birmingham business bringing South-Asian cuisine to the Midlands. As a child, Tina grew up in the small Indonesian town of Sumedang. Nestled in the lush rice paddies, she would spend her days helping her mum prepare and sell homemade meals to surrounding villages. Now she’s using this experience to teach people how to cook delicious food her mum would be proud of.
What better treat for a foodie? Prepare to cook up a storm!
Metallix, Balsall Heath:
The ancient art of metal embossing has captured generations of artisan makers throughout the centuries, and Mel Berman is no different!
She’s the South African-born artist behind Metallix, a Birmingham studio bringing pewter and copper embossing to the West Midlands. Metallix has partnered with Yuup and is opening its space for a unique experience sure to unleash people’s creativity.
Wine Freedom, Digbeth:
Ever tried completely organic bubbly before? Now you can!
Meet Wine Freedom- the tasting virtuosos behind Birmingham’s organic wine bar. This special business will give people the opportunity to sample an eclectic mix of artisan bottles from all over the world– right in the buzzing heart of Digbeth.
Under its wing, customers will be guided on a tasting journey sure to delight even the savviest aficionados!
