Christmas parties may be on hold, but we’ve got lots of local experience gifts for businesses to treat their staff with instead this year. Whether you want to indulge with a food and drink gift or help them get crafty and even start a new hobby, here are a few staff gifts that are guaranteed to make them smile.

Join KASK on North Street to enjoy three of their unique, sustainable wines alongside a selection of local cheeses. Your wine flight will include a selection of their minimal intervention wines, each sourced for its unique flavours from independent growers. Alongside the wine there’s a cheese board to devour, loaded up with delicious cheeses that pair perfectly with the wine. This KASK wine and cheese experience has been created exclusively for Yuup and is a perfect taster treat, with dates available as soon as KASK opens its doors again at the end of January.

Whistle Punks has taken axe throwing out of the woods and into the heart of Bristol, making it the perfect alternative Christmas gift. Once the axe is hitting the target, it’s time for a tournament. Everyone has their own lane and an instructor on hand, as the competition is on to be crowned the ultimate axe thrower. Afterwards enjoy a free drink at the Whistle Punks bar to celebrate.

Make your own macrame

Plant lovers will be made up with a macrame making workshop, where they’ll get the chance to make their own plant hanger. No previous crafting experience is needed, they’ll simply turn up and enjoy a couple of hours of creativity with host, Anne, who will have everything needed ready to go. They’ll go home with a bespoke macrame plant hanger in a colour and design of their choice, and the know how to make more macrame creations themselves.

Bushcraft for beginners

Why not find them something a bit different and give them a chance to get out in nature in the two hour bushcraft experience. Based at Roundhill Farm, between Bath and Bristol, they’ll be able to discover real bushcraft survival with the help of hosts, Moving Mountains. As well as learning basic bushcraft skills, by the end of the experience they’ll be able to light a fire without matches and cook a tasty snack on it as well.

Discover the bright hues of turmeric-rich curry powders, chilli peppers and fresh herbs, combined with ingredients like coconut milk, ginger and garlic to create a feast for the eyes as well as deliciously fresh flavours. You can bring along your own wine or beer to enjoy as you tuck in to every dish that's been made, and enjoy an evening of food and drink with a difference.
