Can’t paint for sht*? Perfect - That’s exactly the energy we’re celebrating!
Grab your bestie and join us for a joyfully crafty morning of mixed-media portrait making, belly laughs, and wildly questionable likenesses, all in the name of friendship!
What to expect? You'll sit opposite your favourite human and attempt to capture their essence on canvas… with absolutely no pressure to be good at it. In fact, the worse the portrait, the better the story. Materials such as collage scraps, charcoals, pastels, inks, pencils, paints and pens shall be provided!
No experience? No problem. This event is all about celebrating friendship, creativity, and a shared sense of humour. Whether your portrait ends up sweet or slightly cursed, it’s guaranteed to become a treasured keepsake of your friendship.
What's included:

Wonky lines, wonderful people, wildly good times.
Hello there! We’re The Wonky Line Cult- a Bristol-based creative events collective hosting joyful, low-pressure workshops and weird, wonderful experiences that bring people together through art, play, and community.
We believe creativity should be fun, messy, social, and open to absolutely everyone, no “right way” to draw, paint, sculpt, or express yourself here. Whether you’re a professional doodler or someone who hasn’t picked up a pencil since school, you’re welcome in our wonky world. What makes us special? It’s the combo of chaos + care; each session is lovingly designed to help people connect, loosen up, and enjoy the creative process without pressure. Most of all, we want our spaces to feel playful, inclusive, and kind- a little pocket of joyful rebellion in the middle of your week.
Come join the cult (it’s not a real cult, promise). Bring your weird ideas. Meet brilliant strangers. Make stuff. Be wonky!
