Come and join BURP. to make your very own fermented hot sauce, with a choice of ingredients to make your unique blend, just how you like it. We'll also talk you through the fundamentals of lacto-fermentation, giving you all the knowledge you need to start confidently fermenting at home.
This is a BYOJ (bring your own jar) event. We recommend reusing an old (but clean) jar, around 600ml, would be ideal.

Really enjoyed it! I had a fantastic time with my partner and despite being on the more 'don't eat sauerkraut' end of the spectrum I'd go again. Great host, really clear instructions and enjoyed the location! Thanks, Preppers and Tasty.

Just wanted to say could you say a big thank you to Romy for the sauerkraut making session I attended on Tuesday at Wiper and True. She was an excellent teacher and I left confident to create further fermented food and the proud owner of my first jar of sauerkraut.

On the day
Please arrive at the Wiper and True Taproom, Old Market by 7pm and bring your own jar with you so that you can take your chillies home to continue fermenting.
Feel free to wear what you like, but be ready to roll your sleeves up and get your hands in amongst it. We will be standing for a good chunk of the session so wearing comfy shoes is advised.
Wiper and True are offering 15% off your first drink at the bar, so please feel free to make use of this offer on the night.
