In this relaxed, small-group session, you’ll dive into the world of fermented hot sauces and sweet, sticky chilli jam. You'll learn the basics of fermentation, create your own chilli jam from scratch, and take home jars of your creations—plus a fermentation starter to keep the magic going in your own kitchen.
There’ll be a variety of chillies and ingredients on hand, so you can experiment and make something truly your own. Got a favourite flavour or ingredient you’d love to include? Feel free to bring it along!
After the cooking is done, you’ll sit down for a light dinner together, using some of the sauces and jams you’ve just made—because what better way to finish than with good food and company?

Easton Chilli started as a side project in November 2020 and has been making meals delicious ever since with their range of spicy condiments!
The range includes several award winning chilli jams and soon, some unique and tasty hot sauces. The business is built with social values in mind; a donation is made per item sold to charity; wherever possible sustainable and local produce and materials are used; and there is a commitment to transparency with an annual financial report.
Our workshops are a chance for you to learn how to make some of our award winning products - and maybe inspire you to develop your own!
Rikki founded Easton Chilli at his kitchen table during covid in 2020. After five years and thousands of jars and bottles produced, Easton Chilli is now based in a converted warehouse in the heart of Easton. Here's to the next five years!
