Ticketing

If you have a ticket or booking-related question, you can contact the Yuup team via email at hello@yuup.co or by using Intercom, the instant chat function found on the Yuup homepage.

You will receive your e-ticket(s) from Yuup via email. This will be sent from: hello@yuup.co (please check your junk or spam folders in case it’s gone there). A copy of your ticket can also be found by logging in to your Yuup customer account and selecting ‘my experiences’.

If you have purchased multiple places under one booking, please note the Yuup system will generate separate QR codes for each person to scan on arrival.

You are advised to either print a copy of your e-ticket(s) at home, or display your ticket on your mobile to be scanned at the entry gate.

All tickets are non-refundable as per Yuup' terms and conditions unless exceptional circumstances apply as detailed in the terms and conditions.

Tickets can only be purchased in advance from the Yuup website and cannot be purchased from the venue box office.

Carer tickets are not free but will remain at the early bird price of £11 once prices rise to 1st and 2nd tier prices. Carer tickets are for registered carers attending with someone who needs extra support.

Currently, the only date/s available are the ones on show. However, depending on demand, we may make further dates available in the future.

Timings and arrival

We advise you to arrive in plenty of time to get through the gates and security checks prior to the start time.

Please be aware bag searches will be in operation as well as security checks at the entrance.

Gates open - 17:00pm
Food Village and Fairground opens - 17:00pm
Show build up starts - 19:30pm
Drones take flight - 19:45pm
Show ends - 20:01pm
Food Village and Fairground closes - 22:00pm
Site closes - 22:00pm

Getting to the venue

Wolverhampton Racecourse is located off the A449 (Stafford Road) dual carriageway. Follow the brown tourist signs to Wolverhampton Racecourse (identified by the horse and jockey image).

From the north: Exit Junction 11 of the M6 and join the A460 towards Wolverhampton. Join the M54 at J1 Westbound. Exit at J2 and follow the A449 towards Wolverhampton.

From the south: Exit junction 10a of the M6 joining M54 to junction 2. Follow A449 towards Wolverhampton.

If you require Blue Badge parking, there is designated accessible parking near to the main entrance. Please display your “Blue Badge” to access these parking areas, spaces cannot be reserved and are available on a first come first served basis.

Blue Badge parking is available on a first come first served basis. If there are no Blue Badge spaces left the stewards will try and park you as close to the venue as possible.

We recommend you arrive early to ensure a parking space as close to the venue as possible.

There are regular direct trains and Metro service to/ from Birmingham City Centre (avg. 20min), Liverpool Lime Street (avg. 1hr and 24min) and Manchester (avg. 1hr and 22min). Click here for train times and updates.

Accessibility

The accessible seating tickets provide access to an accessible viewing area for individuals in a wheelchair or with mobility impairment. The main viewing area at Wolverhampton is grass so it may be that someone with a walking aid may wish to view from the accessible viewing area.

Yes, Wolverhampton Racecourse is fully accessible. Most facilities are at ground level, with wheelchair access to public areas, and lift access to all further levels. There are also designated accessible toilets. The main viewing area for the drone light show is on grass, but a dedicated accessible viewing area is available which is located on the hard-standing area immediately in front of the main stadium building.

If you require Blue Badge parking, we have now reached capacity for all on site parking at the racecourse including both those who have purchased parking and blue badge holders. Blue badge spaces have been allocated on a first come first serve basis following communications to all customers about travel arrangements and parking, both at the point of booking and subsequent email updates requesting customers to register parking details.

We are advising customers to now pre-book parking at one of the official offsite car parks and for blue badge holders, we recommend you arrange for someone in your party to drop you off at the entrance to the racecourse before parking if you are unable to walk long distances. There is seating available inside the grandstand building. Seating is not available within the accessible viewing area. The accessible viewing area is immediately adjacent to the grandstand building. Hospitality ticket holders have access to a lounge with seating. This lounge has a direct view of the drone light show performance area.

Yes, if they are on the same booking. Just let a member of staff know on entry.

Facilities at Wolverhampton Racecourse

The venue is cashless and only card payments are permitted.

There will be a food village on site to purchase drinks and a variety of hot and cold food options.

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks can be purchased on-site (please bring ID with you as the venue operates a Challenge 25 policy).

This is a standing event only and for health and safety reasons picnic / portable chairs are not permitted.

Entertainment

There will be a family-friendly fairground onsite located within the in-field area (inside the horse racing track) and adjoining the audience viewing area for the Drone Light Show. Tickets for the fairground rides can be purchased on the day.

General questions

Yes, Evolution is suitable for all ages to enjoy!

All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18. Any adult is responsible entirely for the safety and welfare of any Infant and/or Child and/or Teenager in their party. We do not accept any parental or supervisory duty of care or liability for any under 18s.

There is a low but constant hum of the drones, moving lights, narration, and a dramatic soundtrack. Our intention for the event is to make it as inclusive as possible, but understand due to the unique nature of the show it may not be suitable for everyone. Hopefully, this gives you enough information to determine if Evolution is suitable for yourself or another individual.

It’s a shame you can’t join us. Tickets are non-refundable, however, if you would like to pass on your tickets to someone else that is fine as long as they have access to the QR e-tickets to scan on entry.

In the event of bad weather conditions, the event may be postponed and your booking will automatically be moved to a new date as explained on the Experience Listing. We will contact all customers by email and SMS to confirm the new date the event will be held on.

There is limited inside space for general ticket holders. Hospitality ticket holders are guaranteed indoor space in one of the venue's hospitality spaces.

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed to attend the event with you with the exception of assistance dogs.

You will not be able to bring your own food & drink with you, except a non-glass water bottle or sealed plastic bottle. There will be a number of different food and drink options available to purchase at the venue.

Yes. There are exemptions for bringing food/drink onsite if you have a health condition- please provide proof of this where possible.
