10 feel-good ways to celebrate International Yoga Day 2025

Every 21 June, yogis and curious first-timers roll out their mats for International Yoga Day. This year’s theme is “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” reminding us that caring for our wellbeing supports a healthier planet too.
Whether you're an experienced yogi or just stretching your way into the wellness world, here are 10 brilliant ways to celebrate – with real experiences you can book right now as part of our Yoga & Meditation collection.

1. Start your day with sunrise yoga on the beach (Brighton)

Feel the sand between your toes and salute the sun with ocean views. Several Brighton studios host sessions on the beach all summer - perfect for International Yoga Day. If you’re heading out of town for the summer, we have some great sessions lined up with the Brighton Yoga Foundation from September.

2. Try goat yoga in the Sussex countryside (Lewes)

Yes, it’s a thing. Yes, it’s brilliant. Stretch and flow surrounded by free-roaming goats - ideal for light-hearted yogis looking for a dose of laughter and animal therapy.

3. Cuddle puppies while you flow (Bristol)

Puppy yoga = serotonin central. This adorable session combines gentle yoga with snuggly, adoptable pups. It’s great for relieving stress and boosting your mood.

4. Join Bristol’s International Yoga Day Celebration

This special £5 community class features a calming 90-minute blend of yoga, breathwork, and meditation. Beginners welcome!

5. Feel the flow with Dynamic Vinyasa Yoga (Bristol)

For a slower, deeper stretch, try a restorative Yin session with soft candlelight. Perfect for winding down after a long day and resetting your nervous system.

6. Stretch it out at Post-Natal Yoga (Birmingham)

Designed for new mums, this gentle class focuses on rebuilding core strength, relieving tension and reconnecting with your body after birth. Babies are welcome - crying, cuddles and feeding breaks included!

7. Ease your mind with meditation in Birmingham

If the idea of yoga feels a little too bendy, start with a calming meditation class. These weekly sessions are gentle, beginner-friendly, and perfect for easing anxiety.

8. Flow and feed at a yoga supper club (Bristol)

Join Lucy for a 60 minute flow and stretch class, helping to de-stress, followed by an intimate dining experience featuring a three-course meal and wine, courtesy of local small plates restaurant COR. Early booking recommended!

9. Take your mat to the park

If a class isn’t your thing, just grab your mat and head outside. Even 15 minutes of movement in nature can boost your mood and help you feel grounded.

10. Gift a yoga experience to someone you love

Know someone who could use a little self-care? Our giftable experiences make it easy to send some zen their way, whether it’s puppy yoga, sound baths or beach sessions.

You don’t need to twist yourself into a pretzel to enjoy International Yoga Day. Whether you’re breathing deeply on the beach, stretching with goats or simply taking five quiet minutes, you’re part of a global celebration of wellbeing.

Breathe in. Breathe out. Book your experience on Yuup.
