What you'll do

Are you looking for a wholesome afternoon to rest and rejuvenate?

Picture this: a blissful sunset walk, a calming yoga flow, and rustic campfire accompanied by the heavenly sounds of the harp.

You are not dreaming - you're hearing about Wild Folk's latest magical experience.

Known for putting on enchanted experiences in special green spaces around Bristol, this one is really pulling out all the stops.

Your group will meet at Chew Valley Lake for a picturesque walk around the lake in the first hour. Chances are you'll even witness a beautiful sunset together.

Alternatively, meet the group directly at The Old School Room from 4PM. Your indoor yoga class at 4:30PM will follow. This one hour vinyasa flow will be led by Ellie Scourse (‘Yoga with Ellie’) and leave you feeling refreshed and revived.

After this beautiful class, you're invited to stick around for a hot drink and to roast marshmallows around the fire in the old terrace area outside. Have a natter in the cool winter air with your lovely group. Emmy of ‘Emmy the Harp’ will play the harp for you while you sit by the fire. There will even be the option to add on some nourishing food for you to enjoy around the campfire if you choose. Afternoons really don't get much dreamier than this.

FOOD: If you would like to have some dinner while we sit out by the fire, please add a 'child' ticket of £5 to your order, as listed below. This will be a jacket potato with organic fillings (baked beans, cheese, hummus, avocado, with vegan alternatives where required). Please note your dietary requirements at checkout. Alternatively, you can bring your own food to eat with us.

About Wild Folk

Wild Folk puts on creative events in magical green spaces in and around Bristol. The aim is to help people grow their own personal nature connection (whilst improving their general wellbeing) as well as to connect with other ‘wild folk’ to do these activities with. At every event we encourage a sense of community, if only for a few hours. You can expect foraging walks, creative workshops, feasts, storytelling and poetry.

Your hosts

Hannah Morris

Hannah was inspired to create Wild Folk to help people immerse themselves in nature, enjoy cooking on fires and socialise in a supportive community. She started Wild Folk as a meetup group here in the South West that people could come to alone or with friends, and now offers a variety of nature experiences.

Ellie Scourse

Ellie is inspired by the nature surrounding her in the beautiful Chew Valley, not far from Bristol. As a qualified instructor, with all her experiences you can expect yoga practice alongside something special. Come along alone or with friends and enjoy an uplifting experience to set you up for the day.
