Yoga and Art: A Pairing for Mind, Body, and Soul

Escape the stress of everyday life and immerse yourself in a chilled-out, art-inspired workshop. You’ll meet Sarah, a talented artist and illustrator, and Carrie, a skilled yoga teacher, who will guide you through a yoga and art session that will soothe your mind, body and soul.

Sarah will teach you how to make stunning prints and patterns using simple tools and techniques. You’ll play with colour, shape and composition, and unleash your inner creativity. You can choose to create your own designs, or follow Sarah’s instructions with handy stencils.

Carrie will help you find your zen with a gentle, warming yoga flow that will relax your muscles and clear your mind. You’ll practice breathing, moving, and feeling your own energy. Carrie’s style is playful, grounding and nurturing. This workshop is open to everyone, regardless of your experience with yoga or art.

You’ll leave feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and connected to yourself and others.

Carrie Brassley (She/Her)

I'm Carrie Brassley - yoga teacher and studio manager. I teach yoga in studios and work places across Bristol. I like to explore fun ways to move the body, balancing some of the more strengthening asanas (yoga postures) with the calm and stillness of pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation. My classes are light hearted, playful and calming; expect anything from flowing sequences to slow, restorative postures.
