Women's Wellbeing: Self Care Day Retreat

This Self-Care Day retreat promises to be a nourishing experience designed to give you techniques to practice at home to support the love of self. All techniques on this retreat are about self-care and thus the focus will be on Anahata chakra or the Heart Chakra, the Chakra which governs love.  We will learn some gentle and powerful practices of self-massage, yoga asana, pranayama and meditation for self-care, self-support, and self-love!

You will be supported with gentle yoga movements, relaxing pranayama, self-massage, and self-care tips. You will learn simple and effective self-massage techniques that help to stimulate circulation, soothe muscle tension, and reduce anxiety and stress – all helping to create a calm mind and body.

By bringing awareness to your mind and body you can adopt these techniques to support and enhance your wellbeing.

The retreat day will also include a healthy and nutritious vegetarian lunch followed by tea and some delicious homemade cake in the afternoon.

On the day

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the event. Wear comfortable clothing for our gentle yoga practice. Bring a shawl/blanket to keep you warm for relaxation. Bring comfortable shoes as weather permitting we can take a short walk around the Avebury stone circle after lunch.

Raziya Sacranie Yoga & Massage

Raziya is a professionally qualified yoga teacher and massage practitioner. Wellbeing is central to everything she does. Raziya specialises in authentic yoga, remedial and therapeutic massage, and Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) coaching. She's been developing her expertise over the past 20 years. Raziya is passionate about showing us how we can support our wellbeing through these practices. Teaching authentic, traditional yoga which honours the roots of this ancient Indian holistic system. Raziya believes when we practise yoga its many teachings can help us to find more balanced ways of living.

Raziya organises and teaches at yoga day retreats and weekends across the UK, alongside yoga holidays in beautiful locations around the world. All in-person experiences are offered in a Covid conscious environment, to ensure all guests feel comfortable attending. Raziya also offers the options of online classes and workshops for others.

Her teaching style is relaxed, friendly and supportive. Encouraging the art of mindful practice, developing strength, stamina and flexibility, while creating an inner stillness and outer calm. Raziya also teaches professional massage techniques that are simple, soothing and effective, giving guests the confidence to practise at home on themselves and loved ones.
