Women’s Hearth & Drum Circle

2 hrs
(10)

Step into the warmth of the Boiling Wells barn.

Here, the crackle of the log burner meets the pulse of the drums, creating a circle where women can unwind, express, and be held in sacred sisterhood. No experience needed - just an open heart.

The hearth is where women have gathered to tend the flames of story, song, and belonging. In our busy modern lives, we crave this return to the primal, the intimate, the sacred.

What’s Included?

  • Cosy, welcoming circle for women
  • Opportunity to release and reconnect with your body
  • Sacred space for reflection and connection
  • Tea and snacks

What to bring

  • A drum / rattle
  • Water bottle / thermos
  • Cosy layers
  • An open heart
  • Optional donation of a log for the fire

Across cultures, the hearth was the heart of the home - a place where women gathered to work, grieve, celebrate, and pass down wisdom. By drumming here, we honour that lineage and tend new flames of connection for women today.

You'll be hosted by

Ruth Semple

Ruth is an Irish sound therapist, ritualist and space holder, weaving drumming, sound, song, poetry, Celtic folklore and ceremony into circles across Bristol.

"The drum first came to me as healing, in a time when pain had the upper hand and nothing else could reach it. It has been my joy and my calling ever since. Whether a group comes to celebrate or to go deep, I love the moment everyone stops thinking and simply plays, and something bigger than all of us takes over. No experience needed, ever."
