EmailWe can’t wait to be back hosting our Women’s Woodland retreat day in the beautiful and serene Tortworth Arboretum. Join us for the start of Spring, in equal light and dark, we explore rising from winter, and the renewal found in nature all around us, but also within us too.
There will be ample opportunity to tap into this creative energy found in abundance at this time of year.
9.30am: Arrive and settle. Then we will start to awaken our energy with an Embodied Yoga flow under the trees, followed by Forest Bathing and journaling, and finally creative play with a print workshop under the roundhouse to allow what's shifted in you to flow through the medium of art. There will be a sharing circle around the fire, teas, meditation and time for self reflection in the woods.

On the day
Wear suitable footwear and clothing for being outside and walking on uneven ground. There are ticks on site so we recommend wearing trousers and long sleeves whatever the weather.
You will need to bring: drinking water, a packed lunch and a yoga mat and blanket and notebook.

Gabrielle offers a holistic approach to health and mindfulness, blending the power of Pilates, Yoga and Forest bathing to nurture your mental and physical wellbeing. For each of the practices she guides from a place of intuition, always using the breath as her compass. Now based in South West Wales, she is living side by side the trees and knows first hand how healing nature is. She looks forward to sharing these practices with you.
Sophie Rae
Sophie is a Bristol-based mural artist and printmaker. Find her bold botanical designs and abstract art brightening up the city. From community murals to cute cafes, trendy bars, retro diners and public gardens – this maker is certainly leaving her mark!
Sophie handcrafts each of her prints with love, without using a press. She celebrates the beauty of irregularities in printmaking. Sophie can't wait to share her unique printing technique with others and get them inspired to pick up a roller too.
