Join Sophie and Gabrielle in the woods at the beautiful Tortworth Forest and Arboretum for a nourishing day of nature and art connection.
10am: Welcome Circle and tea
Ease into the day with a gentle flow yoga, all out in the open fresh air. (There is a covered space if it rains). This will be accessible to all levels and requires no experience.
Following some simple breathwork to connect our bodies to the environment around us, you will be guided through some invitations to deepen your connection to nature: Forest Bathing. We will focus on using all 5 (/6) of our senses, helping you to unwind, slow down and connect with the woods.
We'll then stop for lunch (bring your own).
This break will be followed by a couple of hours of playful printing. Sophie will demonstrate her low tech print process and you will have time to cut stencils / shapes, mix colours and roll to build up a multi layered print(s) inspired by your morning in the woods.
We'll finish up with a tea and snack around the fire before heading home at 4.
Age restrictions: 16+
Adult | £90 |
Wear suitable footwear and clothing for being outside and walking on uneven ground. There are ticks on site so we recommend wearing trousers and long sleeves whatever the weather.
You will need to bring: drinking water and a packed lunch and a yoga mat and blanket.
