Wanting to wind down & rest but constantly feeling like you’re on the go? you’re not alone. Reduced sunlight & colder temperatures increase a sleep hormone which triggers an instinctual desire to conserve energy and rest. However, our modern world doesn’t always allow us to rest as much as we would like. Winter can feel like one of the busiest time of year.
This 2 hour workshop will give you the opportunity to fully rest, recharge & rejuvenate your mind and body.
We will be delving into some calming breath work, a gentle slow flow to release tension in the body (particularly in the neck, shoulders & back) followed by some restorative postures, using minimal effort.
We shall be finishing with a relaxing yoga Nidra, A time for your mind & body to settle and bathe in stillness and tranquility.
The main takeaway from the workshop will be:
giving yourself permission to fully stop, reset & recharge. release tension physically and mentally. calming the nervous system . crafting a healthier and happier state for your mind & body.
Emily has been teaching yoga since 2019, she is extremely dedicated to creating a nurturing, warm & safe environment for everyone. She has developed this workshop around what has helped calm and reset her mind and body from the ups and downs of a busy modern life.
This workshop is suitable for all levels! Mats & props are provided also welcome to bring your own!
