Meet a pioneering winemaker and discover the hidden world of biodynamic wine through a relaxed tasting in the heart of Bristol.
This experience is part of City Uncovered: Bristol, taking place from 18th–31st May – a limited-time series of unique, under-the-radar experiences designed to help you see the city differently.
What to expect:
You’ll arrive at KASK² on Cheltenham Road, where you’ll be welcomed into an intimate, informal tasting setting. As your glass is poured, you’ll meet Robin, co-founder of Limeburn Hill Vineyard—one of the UK’s most intriguing and forward-thinking winemakers.
Although the vineyard itself sits just outside Bristol in the rolling Chew Valley, this experience brings its story directly to the city. As you taste a selection of Limeburn Hill wines, Robin will guide you through the principles of biodynamic farming—an approach that treats the vineyard as a living, interconnected ecosystem.
Along the way, you’ll hear fascinating insights into the process, from why cow horns are buried in the soil to how lunar cycles can influence both vine growth and the flavour in your glass. Expect storytelling, curiosity, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions as you explore these unique wines.
The atmosphere is relaxed and social, with generous pours, good conversation, and a cheese plate to enjoy alongside the tasting.
