What you'll do

What to expect:

  • Forage and create your own wild herbal pestos in Exmoor National Park
  • Forage whortleberries, wild raspberries and strawberries for a delicious smoothie
  • Meet at the Cloud Farm Campsite, begin foraging along the hedgerows of the Doone Valley with Liz from Moor Wild Experiences
  • Make your own tasty creations with your findings back at the Buttery Cafe
  • Afterwards, treat yourself to a cream tea or ice cream from the cafe beside Malmsmead Bridge's trickling waters

Ingredients (no dairy products involved):

  • Pesto: garlic mustard, navalwort, hairy bittercress, wild rocket, extra virgin olive oil, lemon, salt and pepper

  • Smoothies: a mix of wild blueberries, wild raspberries and wild strawberries (including cultivated blueberries, raspberries and strawberries if there's not enough to forage), carton oatmilk and pre-soaked and blended organic Flahavans Irish oats
