Historically, Westside was an industrial part of Birmingham with factories lining the canals transporting goods across the country. We will search for the evidence of Birmnigham's astronomical history and pioneering women Jewellers, as well as hidden stories and architecture ready to be uncovered by your expert host and guide.

Starting at The Jewellers Arms in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter you will take a leisurely walk around the area to find out more about:

  • Harriet Samuel's factory, the largest jewellery chain in Britain

  • A hidden mosaic and park
