Tower Tour of Bristol Cathedral

I really enjoyed the tour and it was really cool to be able to see such great views of Bristol from the roof. I would recommend this and it was great value too.

Was a really informative and fun afternoon, got to go right up into the roof and to see the secrets above the vaulted ceiling of the cathedral. Guide was knowledgable and friendly - lots of information about the history and architecture. I took my teenage son who really enjoyed it as well

Loved the tour, really interesting and great to see the cathedral in a new way. Lots of steps and tight spaces, just a heads up!

What a fantastic experience! I expected to climb the tower and enjoy a view of Bristol from the roof but this tour was so much more! The passages and spiral stairs are narrow but the climbs are broken into sections - and at each stop there is a new surprise waiting to be discovered. This is definitely one for people who love adventures and exploring hidden spaces.

Great experience all round. Interesting history with incredible views across the city. Loved being up in the roof of the cathedral amongst the bells and behind the clock. Also getting up on the roof and seeing Bristol from a different perspective. Great host, very friendly and knowledgeable.

I found the tour to be interesting, informative and fun. Our hosts were full of information and great at answering questions. Seeing the normally hidden parts of the cathedral and the the views from the roof and tour were amazing. Very happy with this tour.

A thoroughly interesting tour of the Cathedral and the roof, it was amazing to see oak beams that had been in position for nearly a thousand years and to see the ancient bells still working. We were taken around by two very helpful guides, it would have been interesting to know their roles/job working at the cathedral. Highly recommended for fit & able adults.

Very informative guides, plenty of time allowed to explore. A treat to be granted access to these special places in the middle of our city.

The history of this beautiful building is fascinating. I was privileged to hear a 13th century bell tolling, to see Bristol and its far-reaching surrounds from an unique viewpoint, and to hear amazing stories from Roger, our excellent guide.

It was amazing to see 'behind the scenes' at the Cathedral-great guide to! They weren't kidding when they said there were a lot of stairs (many of them spiral) & you need to be careful on the roof. Well worth it, though!

Really enjoyed. Got lucky as the sun came out when we were on the roof.
