Top Hats and Tales: Victorian Birmingham Tour

This was our second history tour with Kevin and it was equally as brilliant as the first! An incredibly well researched journey back in time told through an entralling narrative which was accompanied by a range of wondrous artefacts. Kevin is such a talented storyteller and the whole experience was captivating, enthralling and fascinating! We loved it and can't wait to book on to our next tour so we can explore even more of Birmingham's past and secrets! Thank you for a fabulous walking tour!

Would never had known the history certain parts of Birmingham has. Thoroughly enjoyed the walk, excellent host. Would certainly recommend to others. Will probably book another one.

A 10 minute sit down break would be good to have a quick bite on some snacks which we would bring our own.

A longer tour would be good if we could all have lunch at a good place together and continue the tour in the afternoon.
We we all pay for the lunch ourselves either as part of the booking or at the lunch site etc.

As always Kevin was informative humorous and extremely professional. I thoroughly enjoyed this trip

This was our second walk with Kevin. We enjoyed this walk around Victorian Birmingham, learning about local businesses and their use of locally produced "currency" to make good for a shortfall of official coinage. A really interesting thread to link the sites together across a 90 minute walk. Highly recommended.

A most informative & interesting tour.

Kevin shows us the hidden past of our great city, that is so easily overlooked, especially as street names and local history gets forgotten. I really enjoy the pace of the walk and the chance to just stand and look.

This is my third walking tour with Kevin. As always, he was very knowledgeable, bought lots of resources to show us during the tour and was a very friendly and interesting tour guide.
