This was a gift for my parents, who had a brilliant time. Marcia was really knowledgeable and was able to tailor her tour to meet the needs of her audience. Would definitely recommend.
We learnt about some of the Afro-Caribbean influence and history of the Handsworth area of Birmingham.
We enjoyed it and found out much that we didn't know. Our guide, Marcia, was lovely. She was knowledgable and passionate and made us very welcome. We also saw a couple of impressive murals.
The shops and take-away restaurants in the area are well worth a visit at the end.
The tour highlighted the amazing contribution black people have made both to Birmingham and the world.
Marcia is an experienced teacher whose passion is delivering heritage projects for young people and adults alike.
