Join us for a small, hands on evening at Creative Space where you'll make a tall, statement floor lamp from start to finish. You'll cover a striking column shade, around a metre high, in a fabric you love, then put it all together with a switched cable and lamp holder so it's ready to plug in and glow in the corner of your home.
With just six places, there's plenty of time for one to one guidance, colour and pattern ideas, and help making the most of your fabric.
Stand, switched cable, lamp holder, shade panel and rings, tools and printed instructions all included.
What to bring: a piece of fabric at least 85cm x 105cm (roughly a metre off the roll), ideally a medium weight cotton or linen. Please iron it before you come. If your fabric has a directional print, you may need a little extra.

You'll leave with a stunning bespoke item that you created, alongside access to a wealth of expertise and insight into textiles, interiors and advice on how to express yourself through design.
I’d love for you to join me in a creative and holistic workshop, where we’ll work together to craft either a lampshade for your bedside table, for a larger floor lamp or a ceiling pendant.
It’s an opportunity to explore your passion for design while sharing an enriching experience, complete with a glass of bubbly, selection of hot drinks and some delicious treats to enjoy. No experience required, and plenty of fun guaranteed!
