Cook up a Thai banquet in this private experience for two hosted by Nuch, who specialises in making authentic Thai recipes. You'll learn how to make five classic Thai dishes of your choice, getting all the tips and full recipes you need to recreate them yourself at home. Choose any five dishes from these Thai favourites...
Chicken Satay (Satay Kai), Spicy Barbecue Beef Salad (Yum Nua Yang), Spicy Prawn Soup (Tom Yum Goong), Chicken in Coconut Milk Soup (Tom Kha Kai), Penang Chicken (Penang Gai), Green Curry with Chicken (Kaeng Keaw Waan Kai), Stir Fried Noodles with Prawns (Pad Thai), Chicken & Cashew Nuts (Gai Pad Met Ma-Maung), Stir Fried Chicken with Holy Basil (Pad Ka-Praow Kai) or Steamed Fish in Chili and Lime Sauce (Plaa Neung Manow).
In your five hour experience with Nuch, you'll make all your dishes from scratch and taste as you go. Needless to say, there will be lots of delicious food to try during you experience and you'll get to take the remainder of your banquet of Thai dishes home with you.
This is a private experience for two people and there will be more than enough space for social distancing. A freshly washed apron will be supplied and all surfaces will be properly sanitised.
Nuch will provide everything you need to make your dishes. Please do bring along some empty containers to take home all the food you make! Any children under 13 who'd like to learn about Thai food must be accompanied by an adult. Let your host know about any food allergies before the experience.
Gavin and Nuch moved from Phuket to Bristol with their two young children in 2013. Nuch knew she wanted to use her passion for cooking Thai food, which she's been doing since she was just four years old. Before leaving Thailand she went on a cookery course at the Blue Elephant Cooking School in Phuket, studying with some of the best chefs in in the country. Once they had moved, Nuch soon started My Thai Kitchen in Redland and has been sharing her love of Thai flavours with people across Bristol over the last seven years, teaching them how to recreate her authentic recipes at home.View more experiences by My Thai Kitchen
