Step into a thought-provoking and imaginative workshop exploring the hidden stories our clothes can tell. Together with Dr Lucy Gundry – curator, lecturer and researcher – you’ll investigate the marks, wear, and character of historic and contemporary garments, asking what these signs of use reveal about identity, self-expression and sustainability.
Through guided discussion and creative interpretation, you’ll be invited to look at fashion differently: not just as something we wear, but as a way of understanding ourselves and shaping who we might become. Lucy’s research focuses on identity, wearing relationships, and the sustainable fashioning of selves, making this a unique chance to learn from her expertise in an intimate and interactive setting.
Expect fresh perspectives, inspiring conversations, and the chance to imagine a more sustainable fashion future — one outfit at a time
