Reconnect with the True Essence of Yoga
In today’s fast-paced world, the true meaning of yoga is often lost beneath layers of commercialisation - reduced to mere stretching or fitness routines. But yoga, in its authentic Indian roots, is so much more. It is a way of life - a holistic system of health, self-awareness, and connection with the world around us.
This one-day summer retreat is a journey back to those roots.
Together, we will explore yoga in its fullest expression—through traditional asana (postures), pranayama (breathwork), mudra (gestures), mantra (sound), and meditation. This is a retreat designed to nourish not only your body, but your mind and spirit. You’ll gain tools to support a more balanced, joyful, and healthy life.
After our morning practice, we’ll enjoy a nourishing vegetarian lunch, followed by a gentle walk to the nearby Stone Circle - a chance to ground, reflect, and connect with nature in the peaceful Wiltshire landscape. In the afternoon, we’ll gather again for another authentic yoga practice followed by tea, cake, and calming reflection.
Whether you’re completely new to yoga or have years of experience, this retreat is open to all. Come as you are, and leave feeling renewed, realigned, and reconnected—with yourself and the ancient wisdom of yoga.
