Chris was an excellent host, supporting those on the workshop to explore the use of their camera and push the boundaries of what we understood and used in photography. I learnt alot and feel more comfortable and encouraged in more areas of photography. Fully recommend to beginners as well as more experienced photographers.
Absolutely fantastic! Chris tailored the day to gently lead my photography to new levels. No rules. No right and no wrong. Just suggesting, maybe try this camera setting, try stepping to the right a little, try waiting a few seconds for better sunlight. Take a shot, change a setting, retake the shot and compare. Chris was so easy to talk to and so helpful I didn't always realise how much knowledge he was imparting. No hesitation to recommend him to anyone. 5 stars!
Chris is very knowledgeable having been in the creative film, video and still, for many years. The group size was small so allowed some one to one tuition. Initially focussed on the basics around the camera, shutter speed, aperture etc, we did have time to move onto more creative themes around composition. The group was all pretty much beginner level so just right. I would recommend this workshop to any level, Chris will adapt accordingly, but for people wanting a refresher this is ideal
A wonderful morning with Chris taking photographs around the beautiful Bradford on Avon. Chris was excellent, explaining the fundamentals of photography clearly and patiently, showing me techniques and tips on how to get the best out of my camera.
Would definitely recommend the course to anyone whatever your level.
We really enjoyed the time we spent with Chris. I would recommend for everyone!
Chris is very good at adapting the workshop to individuals needs. He took his time explaining my camera to me and I felt much more confident in my photography skills by the end of the workshop. The Avon valley is also a beautiful spot to practice.
My friend and I did this workshop together and absolutely loved it. Chris quickly adapted to our experience and took the time to go over so many useful concepts. He then went on to let us experiment and give us further advice. Once he realised we had an interest in portrait photography he further tailored the remaining of our time to make sure we get the most out of the workshop. Would highly recommend! :)
