Looking to try something creative, colourful and totally unique? Join us in our Bristol studio for a relaxing, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to craft your very own glass mosaic panel using beautiful reclaimed glass.
During this workshop, you'll explore the ancient art of mosaic with a modern twist—working glass-on-glass to create a vibrant design that truly comes to life when it catches the light. Whether you're drawn to bold colours or intricate patterns, your finished piece will be mounted in a picture frame—ready to hang or place by a window at home.
You can choose from a selection of mandala templates on the day or bring your own 20cm x 20cm design to work from. Don't worry if you're new to this—this is a beginner-friendly workshop, and you'll be supported every step of the way.
What you’ll learn:
All materials and tools are provided, along with tea and coffee to keep you fuelled. Just bring your lunch (or pop to the nearby High Street) and wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy—closed-toed shoes and aprons recommended!

April Pebble-Owens is a maker of Contemporary Stained and Fused Glass Artworks. Her work is inspired by the natural world, the animal kingdom, the mystical and mythical. She teaches at her workshop at Rock Farm in Shepton Mallet and is also a Stained Glass Conservator at Holywell Glass in Wells. Her approach to learning is to encourage and problem solve. Being dyslexic herself she understands that repetition and clear instructions are important to help learners get the most from her workshops. Her main aim is for her students to have fun, gain some confidence in a craft and leave with something uniquely beautiful.
