Foraging & Wild Plant Walk: Vallis Vale

Discover new-found knowledge and an appreciation for local plants and the natural world on this foraging & wild plant walk.

Hosted by seasoned forager Samantha, you will spend this walk getting to know some of the local plants and learning about their herbal and culinary properties, history, folklore and how to identify them safely.

You will also learn about toxic look-a-likes and how to wild-harvest plants sustainably. There will be opportunities to get to know the plants in a tactile way, touching, smelling and sometimes tasting them! All walks are deeply rooted in love and reciprocity for the Earth, and your host will discuss how we can lessen our impact and protect biodiversity.

For this walk close to the summer solstice there will be a special focus on flowers and the opportunity to try making your own flower tea, as well as sustainable flower foraging tips and guidance on other medicinal/culinary preparations for flowers.

Group sizes are intentionally kept small so that everyone has the opportunity to ask questions. Bookings are also available for private groups, 1-2-1s and events, please message for more information.
