Spring foraging & pizza workshop

What you'll do

Just imagine - pizza and foraging - the perfect combination rolled into one workshop. It's almost too dreamy a concoction to be true, but your eyes don't deceive you.

If you’re curious about foraging, but don’t know your wild garlic from your nettles, this is a great place to start. This spring foraging walk will guide you through all the essentials, whilst you discover the abundance of fresh spring greens, edible flowers and herbs available at this glorious time of the year.

You’ll be in the wonderful hands of your host Leah - a seriously passionate forager. Sharing her knowledge as a bushcraft and nature practitioner, Leah will show you how to safely and sustainably identify and gather wild food, as you taste some delights along the way.

Your walk takes place in the beautiful location of Chew Magna's Community Farm. Here you will discover the importance of sourcing seasonal and sustainable produce. Take in all this new knowledge while absorbing the farm and Chew Lake's picturesque surroundings. You're signing up for an absolute visual feast.

After working up an appetite on the walk, you will head back to the farm's yurt to make pizzas with the resident chef who is passionate about using seasonal fresh produce to create delicious food. You will incorporate some of the wild ingredients gathered during our walk, as EcoWild's chef leads you through the rustic pizza workshop and fire's up the woodfired oven to cook them in. This is a truly immersive experience!

Get ready for your eyes to be opened to a whole new world of flavours, wild food and folklore you never imagined were possible - until now...

This isn't one you'll want to miss.
