A tapas feast awaits in this evening of Spanish flavours, hosted by Cooking It. Monica, Cooking It’s founder, is originally from Barcelona and has created this experience to share some of her favourite tapas dishes.
As part of your evening you’ll try 3 - 4 different dishes, all made from seasonal, local ingredients. The tapas made will depend on the fresh ingredients available but could include:
Though tapas vastly changes throughout Spain, it’s a huge part of the culture and social scene and these recipes would be perfect to recreate for entertaining friends or family. You’ll get involved in some of the food preparation but for the majority of this experience your chef host will demo the cooking. You’re invited to bring your own wine or beer to enjoy as you watch, and then tuck in to all the tapas dishes together at the end.
This would be a perfect evening for friends or couples to discover some authentic tapas recipes, enjoy a drink or two and leave with the recipes to recreate everything at home.
To make sure their kitchen is Covid safe, Cooking It are ensuring:
You're welcome to bring your own wine or beer to enjoy with the food
Many of the recipes can be adapted, please share any dietary requirements on booking
Please bring along a mask to wear when not seated

Monica is the founder of Cooking It. She was born in Barcelona but has called Bristol home for almost 30 years. Monica grew up around food and could regularly be found in the kitchen of her grandparents’ restaurant, soaking up all the flavours and recipes - so much so she still loves making the tapas recipes she learnt as a child. She returns to Barcelona often to carry on discovering new recipes in her family’s restaurants and patisseries. When Monica isn’t sharing her cooking know-how, you’ll find her enjoying wine with friends and feeding people - often her four daughters and their friends.
