Take a fresh look at Nottingham’s cityscape on this inspiring evening photo walk and workshop, guided by local photographer Lamar Francois and city tour guide Lucy Brouwer.
As the sun sets, you’ll wander through around 2km of the city’s streets, discovering striking public art installations—from Anish Kapoor’s Sky Mirror and the iconic Robin Hood statue, to powerful pieces like Honey Williams’ mural of Eric Irons and Rachel Carter’s Standing In This Place.
Along the way, Lucy will bring the stories behind these artworks to life—sharing the meaning, context, and community impact behind each piece. Meanwhile, Lamar will guide you in capturing the artworks your way, offering practical photography tips and live demonstrations as you go.
To round off the evening, you’ll take part in a relaxed pop-up editing session, where Lamar will show you how to enhance your images using the Snapseed app. You’ll leave with a set of striking shots, new editing techniques, and a whole new appreciation for Nottingham’s creative streets.
