Already nailed the basics? This class is perfect if you’re confident with the core moves & transitions - think Running Man, T-Step, Charleston, Criss Cross and more - and ready to step things up.
We’ll work on speed, variations, transitions and focus on building confidence in your flow!
What we'll Cover:
• Technique refinement and dancing with your whole body
• Drills to build speed and muscle memory
• New step variations to build into your flow
• Combos and choreography to bring everything together!

On the day
Wear comfortable clothes and supportive trainers. Teens welcome with their adults. The studio is close to Old Market & Temple Meads. Store your bike while you dance or there is a free car park right outside.
Directions: The studio is all the way at the end of Barton Manor road. It's warehouse number 4, on the left side of the road, opposite Gloucester Road Gearboxes.

I discovered this dance style 4 years ago and it's changed my life for the better in so many ways... so I'm now on a mission to share that with others!
I started teaching in London over a year ago and recently moved back to my home city of Bristol, where we're building the shuffle community here together from the ground up! The global shuffle & cutting shapes community is one of the most welcoming and inclusive ones you will find... come join us and experience the joy for yourself ✨
I currently teach weekly improver classes, for those who already feel comfortable with the fundamental steps & transitions of the style.
My beginner classes have taken a pause... BUT we've got another lovely teacher in town who is leading the weekly beginner classes from the end of January 2026!

I'm Laura, a shuffle and cutting shapes dancer and teacher based in Bristol. I've been dancing this style for 4 years now, with no prior dance experience and I believe that anyone can learn to shuffle! It's absolutely changed my life and I'm passionate about bringing that feeling to as many other people as possible.
The global shuffle community is welcoming, inclusive and encouraging (and heaps of fun!) and that's the focus at my classes too!
