Spend a creative afternoon or evening with us at Print Paradiso, Bedminster’s vibrant new screenprinting studio, where you’ll design and print your very own two-colour artwork onto either a comfy cotton t-shirt or a sturdy tote bag — perfect for summer and beyond.
You’ll learn how to create bold, graphic prints by cutting out paper stencils and mixing your own colours. Then, you’ll print your design layer by layer, with a fun little screen-washing ritual between each pass (don’t worry- it’s way less messy than you’d think!)
We usually start with a pattern layer, then add a subject or object on top - it’s a simple approach that allows for plenty of creative freedom and beautiful, eye-catching results. Whether you want to make something totally unique or get some guidance on your design, we’re here to help.
Choose between a white or grey Gildan t-shirt (plenty of sizes available) or a large, durable tote bag. Both are high-quality pieces designed to last and look great.
The session is relaxed, music-filled, and full of good vibes. Feel free to bring your own drinks (just save them for after the cutting tools are safely put away!).
Your printed garment will be dry enough to take home, and we’ll provide easy instructions on how to care for it at home.
Please note: This workshop requires a minimum of two participants to go ahead.

Great evening, really great host. I have no artistic ability but came away with something I was proud of
Had a really great time at this workshop! Steven was super helpful and patient with the questions from the group and helped us all to achieve the vision we had for our garments. Really rewarding to come away with something I made myself and can proudly wear. Will definitely be back again some time!
Steven was super helpful in explaining the screen printing process. He gave adequate time for everybody to complete the designs, cutting and printing. Overall, myself and my friend had a great time and came away loving screen printing. Thank you again to Steven for the wonderful workshop- would recommend 10/10!
Stephen was a great host, very knowledgable, patient and allowed us all to be creative, in whatever capacity. Highly recommend!!
It was great fun!
Loved this afternoon learning how to screen print and coming away with my very own tee ! Steve is a great teacher. Thank you!
I went to this workshop for a relaxing, creative evening with my friends. We had the best time, and I loved the creative freedom that Steven gave us. I love my T-shirt and it was so cool seeing how screen printing works. Will definitely be back!
Fun and interactive session with a knowledgeable & kind host
So fun, would defo recommend. Steven was so welcoming and guided us through the process so easily. Would love to go again to make another t-shirt!
This was my first time screen printing, and the host made it so enjoyable and easy to follow. It was such a fun and relaxing way to spend time with my friends, and it was great to be able to take home a really cool garment too. Will definitely be returning!
This class is not a particularly messy session, however we would recommend wearing cloths that could handle a little bit of ink. Aprons are available. The studio is at 137 East Street in the old Stan Butts butchers shop. For parking, you will find the best chance of free parking on: St John’s St, Church Rd, New John St, or British Rd.
Steven has been screenprinting and running workshops for many years in south Bristol, creating works and running classes under the moniker Studio Lazy.
As the founder of Print Paradiso he has built an open access screenprint studio for artists to use and students to learn, right on a busy local high street.
