Creative Mending at the Bookshop

Fancy learning how to mend your clothes the creative way? In this session you'll get to try out a variety of different visible mending techniques. Spur on your creativity and turn holes and tears into beautiful features. We'll patch, we'll darn, we'll stitch. You'll also get the chance to use your new skills straight away on one of your own items. Bring an item in need of mending, all other materials will be provided.

What to expect:

  • A mending workshop suitable for beginners

  • Learn a variety of different techniques

  • Get inspiration on how to mend your garments creatively

  • Repair a well-loved item of clothing

This workshop is suitable for any item of clothing as we'll look at a range of different techniques that work with different kinds of fabrics.
