Re-Chaos Baby Shower: Creating and Upcycling

This host comes to you. Available in Bristol.
2 hrs

Celebrate the new arrival with something creative, sustainable and completely unique.

Our Re-Chaos Baby Shower Workshop gives every guest the chance to create two personalised pieces: a preloved baby item chosen from Goldie’s Charity Shop for baby (or a new item if you prefer), plus their own canvas tote bag to decorate and take home.

Choose from our collection of playful Pattern & Chaos transfers - from leopard-print animals and colourful graphics to cute baby-themed designs - then arrange them your way before we professionally heat press everything into place. Children can also attend the workshop if you’d like younger relatives to get involved.

The result? A collection of one-of-a-kind clothes made especially for baby by the people who love them, plus a personalised tote for every guest.

It’s a relaxed, hands-on alternative to traditional baby shower games, with a strong focus on creativity. We also do all the organising for your group.

£30 per child or £35 per adult (at your venue) - or £40 per adult if we arrange and pay for venue - (min 12, max 30) including:

A preloved baby garment from Goldie’s (quality checked and washed, often new or hardly worn) - or a new item if you prefer.

A canvas tote bag for each guest

A selection of Pattern & Chaos transfers

All materials and equipment

Heat pressing and workshop guidance

Venue hire - We have a few we work with regularly but if you have a space in mind, or even a lovely home we could use, we can do it there at a price of £35 per adult instead.

You'll be hosted by

Stephanie Smith-Clarke (She/Her)

I’m Steph, the founder of Pattern & Chaos and the person behind the Re-Chaos workshops. I'm a Bristol mum of two. I love bold prints, colour, second-hand finds and turning ordinary clothes and accessories into something much more fun, trying to be kind to the planet where I possibly can.

My workshops are designed to be relaxed, sociable and completely beginner-friendly. You don’t need to be ā€œcraftyā€ or artistic — I’ll bring all the designs, materials and ideas, help you work out what looks good, and do the heat pressing for you.

I’m a big believer that creativity should feel playful rather than perfect, so expect plenty of choice, a bit of experimentation and absolutely no pressure to make the same thing as everyone else.

My favourite part is seeing people arrive saying ā€œI’m not creativeā€ and leave with something they’ve designed themselves and genuinely love.
