The experience:
Get hands-on with clay—without any need for a pottery wheel—in this Private Pottery Party. Led by Pottymouth Workshop, this mobile, hand-building session brings a full pottery studio to your venue. Whether it’s mugs, vases, butter dishes, pet bowls, or something entirely unique, your team will nurture ideas from clay to creation with one-to-one support.
Ideal for team socials, or milestone celebrations, this private session offers creativity, collaboration, and keepsakes to cherish long after the event.

What’s included:
• 2 hr 30 min private pottery workshop delivered to your chosen venue (or host’s studio for groups under 5)
• Guided hand-building techniques—no wheel required
• Demonstrations, 1-to-1 support, and access to a variety of tools, paints & textures
• Final pieces glazed, fired, and ready for collection shortly after the session

Group size: Minimum spend of £480 for up to 10 participants, maximum capacity: 40 people.
Food & drinks: consumption of food is not recommended during a pottery experience, but feel free to BYOB, glasses not provided.

Although aprons are provided, we recommend you wear something you don't mind getting a bit mucky! Please arrive 15 minutes before your the start of the session so we can get going promptly. Feel free to bring some drinks with you but please note no glasses are provided so please bring your own or bring bottled beverages. There is sadly no recycling on the premises so please take your packaging away with you.
Meredith is the co-founder of Pottymouth Workshop and a ceramicist with five years of teaching experience, specialising in handbuilding. She brings a warm, encouraging presence to every session, creating a space where people of all abilities can feel confident to explore and experiment. Whether you're coiling, pinching, or slab building, Meredith’s calm guidance and supportive teaching style make learning feel approachable and fun. Her goal is to share the joy of working with clay and help you discover what you can create with your own two hands.
Naomi is the co-founder of Pottymouth Workshop and an expert potter with over five years of teaching experience. Primarily working on the wheel, she’s recently rekindled her love for handbuilding, bringing a fresh perspective to both techniques. Naomi is passionate about helping people bring their ideas to life in clay, no matter their skill level. Throughout your time in the workshop, she’ll be there every step of the way—offering guidance, support, and plenty of encouragement to help you feel confident and inspired.
