Pottery Throwing for Beginners for Two

We had an absolute blast. A private session in two wheels, our tutor for the session Chelsea was amazing. There was time to just do what we wanted to do with plenty of coaching. Managed to make a few pieces each. There was no rush and no judgement, the right amount of help so it didn't feel like we had nothing good to leave with but didn't feel like someon had just done it all for us. Bargain for the price too. Will definitely to back.

This was a great way to start exploring pottery! Ruth was so helpful and explained everything well. We had a proper laugh, it was fun and we managed to create some cool pieces. Fantastic experience, great date day idea, perfect for beginners and a lot more interactive than pottery painting so made a nice change! Definitely recommend, good value for money also having 1:1 teaching and getting to keep what you make.

We hadn’t prepared what we were going to make but Ruth was really prepped to help us decide. Really tidy work space and we both left feeling like we had learnt the basics of how to use the wheel. Very worth booking.

We loved our time, had loads of time on the wheel, made obvious progress through out. Wife had a fair bit of experience and I had non but that didn’t matter. Would definitely recommend.

This was a present and such a great thing to do. The whole experience was great from start to finish. Such a great teacher and so relaxed and friendly. We throughly enjoyed it and being I’ve always wanted to try it, it did not disappoint. We just wish we had room to have a set up in our His and Hers sheds xx

We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Both of us were complete novices, but were helped to create some quite good pots, far better than either of us expected. Ruth was really good at teaching us how to throw and we learned so much from the experience and really enjoyed it. Everything was prepared and ready for us to start and she gave us a demonstration to get an idea of what to do. It was our first time throwing and Ruth was always at hand to help us along the way. We will definitely be back again!

Ruth was great! Excellent teacher, super patient, informative, extremely positive even though the creations were a bit suspect! We were the only ones there so had lots of 1 on 1 tuition.
Really fun couple of hours spent and now we have 4 memories from the day sat on the window sills!

Ruth is great - a good teacher and whilst there were quite a few processes to master, she assured us we could do it and would end up with something at the end of the session. Which we did!

Myself and my husband had a lovely couple of hours being taught the basics by Ruth. We were complete beginners but managed to make something that looked like a pot and had fun too.
