Join ceramicists Naomi Stokes and Meredith Mason at Bristol's newest boutique hotel, Artist Residence, in Portland square. This venue is a former boot factory turned cafe, kitchen and bar- the perfect spot to get creative.
You'll be guided step-by-step through the process of making your own 'pinch pot' ceramic tea cup and accompanying saucer.
What to expect:
Your finished item will be left with your hosts who will fire and glaze your work. You will be contacted to collect your mugs from your host within 2-4 weeks.

Meredith is a ceramicist specialising in handbuilding who has been teaching for the past two years at her studio in Fishponds. Teaching the techniques of coiling, pinch pots and slab building in a variety of workshops. Meredith aims to share her love of the clay world by guiding you through the process of handmade forms.
Naomi is an expert potter with three years teaching experience. Naomi mostly works on the potter's wheel, but has recently reignited her love for hand building. Her aim is to help people realise their ideas in clay. Naomi will be on hand during the whole experience to give advice, support and plenty of encouragement.
