BYOB Pottery Date Night

A fun and messy wheel throwing pottery date night, especially designed for groups of two. Come and have a go on the wheel whilst enjoying a glass of your favourite tipple!

In this private 2 hour workshop you'll get hands-on tuition and learn the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel. The session is led by experienced potter, Ruth, who will give you her undivided attention and help you get to grips with this fun and creative skill.

BYOB is available if you would like to have a little dutch courage to help limber you up for the session!

During the workshop you will see a throwing demonstration from Ruth and then you will be free to throw as many pots as you like. Usually, participants throw 2-3 pots during their time.

Once you've picked your favourite piece, Ruth will trim, glaze and finish your works of art in the following weeks. The session includes the trimming and firing of one piece per person.
