What you'll do

Is there a better way to while away a Saturday afternoon than enjoying some playful pottery at the pub, with some pints and your pals? We've got you sorted...

Join the Pot Heads at their favourite local, The Coronation in Southville for an afternoon of calm & relaxing creative play with clay - guaranteed to put a smile on your face, you'll leave not only with happy memories to cherish, but with a Pot Head creation of your very own and a new plant to add to your collection!

Get comfy and cosy at The Coronation before getting stuck into your two hour pottery session. Get eased into unleashing your creative side, before being shown how to create your very own, unique ceramic character. Your host Tasha will guide you step-by-step as you will learn some simple hand-building techniques to bring your plant pot pal to life.

You and your group can enjoy a beverage 'on the house' with a drink of your choice included in your ticket price. The pub stocks local brews, an eclectic gin selection, wines and cocktails (Tasha recommends the vegan white russian) - as well as plenty of fine non-alcoholic options.

Take your Pot Head away on the day, along with a cactus or succulent 'hairstyle' of your choice, and a Pot Heads goody bag! We know, we spoil you...

First-time potters are encouraged as no experience is needed, just a willingness to get a bit messy. This experience is perfect for large and small groups who want to get together for some good, messy fun in a relaxed environment. This experience can be tailored to suit your needs - work parties, Birthdays, hen parties - all are welcome!

Please get in touch with your host Tasha via the messenger box to enquire about pricing for different group sizes and for availability, if your desired date is not listed. Look forward to seeing you there...

About Pot Heads Pottery

Since community artist Tasha Bee started the Pot Head movement, she has been busy delivering workshops where thousands of hand-sculpted, ceramic plant pot pals have come to life. Each and every one of these Pot Heads is as wonderful and unique as the person who created it.

The Pot Heads experience is completely portable and can be brought to you in Tasha's bright and colourful 'Portable Pottery Studio' van - so these relaxing workshops deliver a healthy dose of creative silliness right to your door!

Tasha has a background in the arts and wellbeing and the Pot Head movement was born from her passion for using creative play to bring groups together, supporting the community and aiding wellbeing. She's on a mission to encourage people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to enjoy the playful and therapeutic nature of clay.

Tasha Bee

Tasha is a community artist based in Bristol and is passionate about using art and creativity to aid wellbeing and social connection. She has a background in running art workshops for a variety of groups in the community and loves lots of different forms of art.

The idea for the Pot Heads was born when Tasha was working at a pottery studio which supported individuals with learning difficulties and autism; she fell completely in love with the playful, relaxing nature of clay and soon wanted to share it with everyone she knew!
