Post-natal baby yoga course

What you'll do

A set of 6 post-natal yoga experiences for you and your baby, in beautiful Chew Magna.

Your host will be Ellie, a Bristol yoga teacher and mother of two young children who knows only too well how important it is to give yourself the time and space to reconnect with your body after growing and birthing a baby. This group of 6 baby yoga experiences will allow you to gently move, stretch and begin to strengthen your body, whilst giving you space to breathe and find some calm.

In each experience, after 45 minutes of gentle yoga, you’ll be able to enjoy coffee (and cake!) with the group, giving you the chance to chat with other mums and babies. During the yoga you can cuddle and feed as you feel, and there is never any pressure for the babies to lay quietly.

This experience will be weekly at 10am on Thursdays for 6 weeks, starting on January 14th. The full dates included are:

Come along for 6 sessions of post-natal yoga at your own pace, with other mums. Please note, babies should be pre-crawling.

COVID-19 guidelines

  • A full COVID risk assessment has been completed and will be circulated
  • Hand sanitiser will be available for use before and after the session, and masks should be worn until the yoga begins
  • Social distancing will be adhered to and yoga mats will be at least 2m apart

On the day

  • Please wear warm and comfortable clothing
  • For you, please bring a mat, water bottle and reusable coffee cup
  • For your baby, please bring a blanket/mat to lie on

About Yoga with Ellie

Yoga with Ellie offers yoga...with a twist! Ellie has been practising yoga for nearly 20 years and teaching for five. She is based in the beautiful countryside in the Chew Valley, just south of Bristol, where many of her experiences take place. Ellie teaches yoga weekly but also hosts outdoor yoga experiences, finishing with coffee and pastries. Food is sourced locally and is organic & vegetarian or vegan where possible. Some of the outdoor yoga sessions are in particularly special locations - wildflower meadows in nature reserves, or in the grounds of a community farm. Ellie’s experiences are special, unique and always social, giving you the chance to take your practice out into the open and enjoy some time in nature.

Ellie is inspired by the nature surrounding her in the beautiful Chew Valley, not far from Bristol. As a qualified instructor, with all her experiences you can expect yoga practice alongside something special. Come along alone or with friends and enjoy an uplifting experience to set you up for the day.
