Poetry and wine night at KASK

What you'll do

Baudelaire wrote, "You have to be always drunk. That's all there is to it - it's the only way [...] But on what? Wine, poetry or virtue, as you wish."

Join KASK on North Street to enjoy three of their unique, sustainable wines. Your wine flight will include a selection of their minimal intervention wines, each sourced for its unique flavours from independent growers.

Between tastings, Caleb will share quotes and poems about wine and booze from great thinkers and writers. You'll try your hand at creating poems which celebrate what's delicious about drinking, offers sage advice to drinkers and lampoons the language of wine tasting. Accessible, playful and collaborative, you'll come away with a new-found appreciation for both wine and poetry, and their gorgeous, sometimes fuzzy, relationship.
