Get those hands dirty and learn some simple pottery techniques to create your very own unique plant pot pals! The 2 hour workshop is a relaxing and therapeutic experience, open to all ages and abilities. You will leave with a ceramic character of your own creation, complete with a plant 'hairstyle' of your choice.

Tasha will guide you step-by-step to get your creativity flowing - no previous experience is necessary. First-time potters are hugely encouraged! The Pot Heads are on a mission to make creative play accessible to everyone and show that you don't have to consider yourself an artist to enjoy creating. This is a great way to unwind, relax and get in touch with your playful side.

Since the Pot Heads movement began in 2019, thousands of new Pot Heads have been potted by the population, each as wonderful and unique as the potter who created it - what will yours look like? There's only one way to find out...

Choose between coming along to Pot Head HQ, a colourful creative hub in the heart of St Werburghs, or arrange for The Pot Heads to come to you in Daphne the Portable Pottery Van - this will set you up for a truly unique experience. Daphne is a 70s inspired, flower-power van that Tasha has converted into her pottery studio on wheels. It's fitted out with everything you need to enjoy the session in style - anywhere your heart desires!

Enjoy the relaxing nature of working with clay and get creative together - make special memories as you create pieces of pottery to keep. Come along with your pal, your partner, or your parent and see what your Pot Heads will look like!

To make your unique creation really come to life, you'll be able to give your pot a cactus or succulent hairstyle of your choice. Choose a 'hairstyle' from Tasha's ever-growing plant collection and take your new Pot Head home with a new 'do.

About Pot Heads Pottery

Since community artist Tasha Bee started the Pot Head movement, she has been busy delivering workshops where thousands of hand-sculpted, ceramic plant pot pals have come to life. Each and every one of these Pot Heads is as wonderful and unique as the person who created it.

The Pot Heads experience is completely portable and can be brought to you in Tasha's bright and colourful 'Portable Pottery Studio' van - so these relaxing workshops deliver a healthy dose of creative silliness right to your door!

Tasha has a background in the arts and wellbeing and the Pot Head movement was born from her passion for using creative play to bring groups together, supporting the community and aiding wellbeing. She's on a mission to encourage people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to enjoy the playful and therapeutic nature of clay.

Tasha Bee

Tasha is a community artist based in Bristol and is passionate about using art and creativity to aid wellbeing and social connection. She has a background in running art workshops for a variety of groups in the community and loves lots of different forms of art.

The idea for the Pot Heads was born when Tasha was working at a pottery studio which supported individuals with learning difficulties and autism; she fell completely in love with the playful, relaxing nature of clay and soon wanted to share it with everyone she knew!
