The Art of Pastry: Learn, Bake and Enjoy

Sure, buying a scrumptious apple pie or hearty Cornish pasty from the supermarket is an easy solution. Or you could learn how to make your own mouth-watering treats from scratch. Join this fun, hands-on class and discover the secrets of pastry making with a professional chef!

You’ll start by watching a demonstration on how to make and use choux pastry and puff pastry, two of the most versatile and delicious types of pastry.

Then, you’ll get to make your own puff pastry and shortcrust or sweet shortcrust pastry, with guidance and tips from the host. You’ll also choose whether you want to use your shortcrust or sweet shortcrust to make an apple pie, a savoury vegetable quiche or a Cornish pasty. You’ll take home your creations, along with the puff pastry you’ve made, to share with your loved ones (or enjoy by yourself - no judgment here).

This class is perfect for anyone who wants to master the art of pastry and have a fun and relaxing time in the kitchen. You’ll also get to meet other pastry lovers and chat over a drink, as the classes are BYO. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, you’ll find something new and exciting to learn and taste in this class.
