Needle Felting with Alpacas: Crafting On The Farm

Join us for a relaxing and creative needle felting workshop set in a truly special location—right on a working alpaca farm in Somerset! Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned felter, this peaceful session is the perfect way to slow down and get crafty in the company of some seriously cute animals.

Led by one of the farm’s owner-farmers, you’ll learn how to needle felt your very own alpaca using fibre shorn directly from the resident herd. With over 20 alpacas on site, you’ll have plenty of time to soak up the scenery, chat about all things alpaca, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings as you craft.

May is birthing season, so if you're lucky, you might even spot a baby alpaca (cria) from the café where the workshop takes place! The venue will be closed to the public during your session, making it an exclusive, calm, and sociable crafting experience.

All materials and expert tuition are included, and refreshments are available to purchase—including cakes, snacks, cold drinks and even a glass of fizz. It’s the perfect setting for a creative escape with friends.
