Outdoor adventures: Connecting to nature

Connecting to nature isn’t just brilliant for our wellbeing - it teaches us how to look after it in the future!

Spend the morning discovering wholesome activities that connect us to the outdoors while enjoying fantastic views of the countryside around beautiful Bath! You'll head home inspired to seek out nature on your doorstep and have all the tools you need to do so.

Your host's speciality is helping others connect to the outdoors in unique ways. This will open up your eyes to all your surroundings - never take nature for granted again!

Minimum fitness level required.

Please bring your own sanitiser and feel free to wear masks if you wish

On the day

Meeting point: 9AM at Swineford Picnic Site, Bath. Drive past the Swan Inn and over the cattle grid
Under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult
All equipment will be provided. Just make sure you're kitted out for a day in the outdoors - get in contact for a kit list if it would be helpful!
You don't need to be super fit or speedy but you should be comfortable walking at least 4km over uneven ground including some hills

Can't make it? We understand things happen! You can cancel and get a full refund up to 7 days before your experience.

Discover Your Outdoors offers guided walks and outdoor skills tuition to help people explore and learn about the outdoors from different perspectives. It is run by Siân Louise Brewer, a geographer, Mountain Leader and accredited outdoor learning practitioner with a passion for helping people develop skills and knowledge. You are welcome to join an existing experience or get in touch to arrange something bespoke to suit you.

Siân Brewer

Siân is a geographer, mountain leader and accredited outdoor learning practitioner. She's passionate about helping people develop skills and knowledge so they can go and discover their outdoors.

After 15 years experience leading outdoor learning and expeditions, Siân values creating adventures for people regardless of their abilities, experience or background.
