Get into the festive spirit with Chloe, founder of The Bristol Soap Company, at this cosy and creative Christmas workshop! You’ll learn how to make your own natural, plant based lip balms from scratch, perfect for giving as thoughtful handmade gifts this Christmas.
Explore a range of nourishing plant oils, butters, waxes, and essential oils as you craft your own unique lip balm recipe. You’ll make 10 x 10ml pots of beautiful lip balm, and we’ll provide everything you need to decorate and personalise your labels, gift wrap, ready to give to your favourite people this Christmas, or keep a few for yourself!
To add to the festive cheer, we’ll be serving homemade cake, mince pies, seasonal nibbles, and complimentary warming mulled wine throughout the session. Alcohol free drinks will also be served.
This relaxed, hands-on workshop is suitable for all levels and is designed so you can easily recreate your recipe at home using everyday equipment. Whether you come solo or with friends, it's the perfect way to slow down and enjoy some creative time during the busy Christmas season.
You’ll also receive a guide to take home with ingredient details, your personalised recipe, and a template for future batches, ideal for continuing your making journey at home.

We’ll be working with plant oils and butters, which can stain clothing. We recommend wearing clothes you won’t mind getting the odd splash on. There is limited parking on the residential streets around Church Road but it can get busy. Bus stops are located nearby on Church Road. Lawrence Hill train station is around 10–15 minutes on foot. Chloe is the founder of The Bristol Soap Company, based in Easton Bristol, where she handcrafts luxury, natural, and ethically made cosmetics, soaps, and skincare gifts.
Inspired by a love of high-quality, sustainable products and concern for the planet and people, she started the business in 2018 while pregnant with her first child.
Alongside running her company, Chloe is a mum of two and runs a local charity. She is passionate about using plant-based, natural ingredients that are kind to both skin and the environment.
Chloe now also runs creative, hands-on workshops to share her knowledge and passion for making natural skincare. These sessions offer people the chance to gather together for a lovely experience, learn new skills, develop their own recipes, and create beautiful products to take home - encouraging more conscious choices in self-care.
