Join this friendly, mixed-ability silversmithing and jewellery-making course, open to all skill levels. Over six weekly sessions, you’ll work on your own personal projects at your own pace, whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to develop existing skills.
The course is led by experienced tutor Lorna, who will be on hand throughout to teach new techniques on request, offer guidance, and help problem-solve as your projects develop.
Your booking date is Week 1, and the course runs weekly from then.

Bethany is the silversmith behind both Silver & Steel and her personal jewellery brand Bethany May Silver. Down to earth and welcoming Bethany loves sharing her passion for jewellery making with makers of all levels. Having learnt from Alice Goldsack, herself a student of the prominent Diana Porter, Bethany cares deeply about the silversmithing culture and community in Bristol. After years of creating her own work, Bethany developed engaging workshops for beginner jewellers and has taught people of all ages and abilities. Bethany is an experienced creative workshop teacher, educator and trainer who will ensure the experience is fun, memorable and participants leave feeling empowered.
