Mini Mindfulness Retreat in Nature

Mindspace's nature retreats feel close to home, but also a million miles away. This experience, taking place in beautiful peaceful surroundings, is a wonderful way to enjoy spending time in nature and disconnecting from technology. Both work wonders for our mental and physical wellbeing.

During the experience you'll discover how mindful meditation can encourage our ability to live in the present moment, to grow and to develop. This is a refreshing chance to unite being in nature with the practice of mindfulness.

What to expect:

  • Spend the day outside in nature, healing your body and mind
  • Guided sitting and walking meditations
  • Mindful movement practices
  • A lovely picnic as a group (please bring your own)
  • Walks along trails and up small hills
  • Exploring woodlands and nature
  • Access to recordings of the guided meditations and teachings

Please dress appropriately for the weather and make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes.

How to get there

Facilities

  • Experience takes place outdoors

On the day

  • Meet at the town gate of Sutton Park (60 Park Rd, Sutton Coldfield, B73 6BU) at 14:00
  • Conclude at the same spot at 17:15pm
  • Parking is available. Five minute walk from the station
  • Please bring a small rucksack including: a packed lunch, flask/water, small cushion or small travel seat/stool, mat (yoga style) or plastic sheet
