Mince Pie Workshop

To welcome in the festive season, Annabelle of Honey & Rye is running a one-off workshop at Gulp! studio in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

Over the course of two and a half hours, your talented host will show you how to make the delicious pastry for your mince pies, create your own mincemeat, and put it all together to make the perfect mince pie.

All materials will be provided, but please bring an apron in case things get messy! You'll also be provided with some festive nibbles to keep you going. Book your space now for this wonderfully festive Christmas cookery workshop!

On the day

  • All materials will be provided, but please bring an apron in case things get messy! You'll also be provided with some festive nibbles to keep you going.

  • Location: Gulp! Studio, 58 Spencer Street, Jewellery Quarter
  • Parking is available on Spencer Street and is free after 6pm. Alternatively, the tram runs from various spots in Birmingham, stopping at the Jewellery Quarter.

Hi! I'm Annabelle, a Le Cordon Bleu-trained pastry chef. I run Honey & Rye, a micropâtisserie by day, and supperclubs by night! As part of my micropâtisserie, I run occasional workshops where I share my tips and tricks for making the perfect pastries at home. Meanwhile, my supperclubs are a chance to gather like-minded people over a meal and share some of my favourite things to cook.
