(8)

Twisting, punching, hammering, embossing! These are some of the techniques you will learn in this 3-hour ring-making workshop where you will learn the fundamentals of silver jewellery making!

The possibilities really are endless as to what surface texture you can create on silver with a little imagination, and you will be able to play and experiment to your heart's content and create a unique, wearable piece of art to take away at the end of the session!

This masterclass is suitable for complete beginners, or those with some previous jewellery-making experience that would like to experiment further with texture on metal. The small class size means that you'll get plenty of one-on-one help to bring your creation to life.

What to expect:

  • Make your first design in copper before making it from silver
  • Learn about the materials and tools used in silver jewellery making
  • One-on-one help from an experienced jeweller
  • All materials and tools provided
  • Refreshments provided throughout the session

Use a variety of different tools and techniques to create your personalised piece, from letter punches to the rolling mill to replicate the texture of many fabrics, papers, laces and more!
