What you'll do

Emotions can be messy things. They can make us feel like our mind is all over the place and leave us feeling pent up. Having a creative outlet to express them can be very cathartic and feel like a wonderful release.

In this workshop, your host Clare will be providing you with all the materials you need to express your emotions and get creative. Starting with some short meditative moments to get you in the zone, Clare will provide a safe space to experiment with art materials.

After talking you through some techniques and providing inspiration, there will be the chance to get messy with bright and colorful acrylic paints, and dark, smudgy charcoal sticks. Let yourself go and create something as dramatic and bold, or subtle and soft as you please - let your intuition guide you.

This experience is made for those who would like to do something creative but don't have the time, space or know-how. Clare will put you at ease and remind you an artist resides in us all, sometimes it just takes a little encouragement for them to poke their head out the door!
